Phase 2 – Design and Estimate During the Design and Estimate phase, we will go through a series of meetings to refine the design and begin formalizing the specifics around your custom basement project. The focus of this phase is as follows: Review the proposed designs through architectural drawings as well as a 3-D computer rendering of the space. Present an initial estimate of the project Discuss the potential options, the levels of allowances for carpet, tile, plumbing and lighting fixtures, etc. and design alternatives and their associated costs. Refine and modify the design/ estimate based on your input, budget, and the level of finishes you want to incorporate in your new basement.
